Alopecia is an autoimmune disease that causes sudden and unexpected hair loss. Many different types of alopecia cause hair loss over different parts of the body and sometimes the whole body. This hair loss can appear in patches or total hair loss. A common area to experience alopecia is on the scalp. Unfortunately, there is no cure for alopecia, but SMP is the perfect solution!

By implanting pigment in and around the patched areas of the scalp, we can conceal the patched areas and blend the replicated hair follicles with the existing follicles. If you are experiencing hair loss on a much larger scale, a full head treatment may be advised. This will make it appear that you have a full head of cropped hair. A full head treatment may also be recommended if your alopecia is unpredictable, this is where the hair grows back in the patches, other patches may appear in another area of the scalp. Or patches can connect, making a larger area of hair loss.
